My name is Kathryn. I am the jewelry designer and metalsmith behind FIASCO. Someone once described the aesthetic of my jewelry as "elegant punk." I wouldn't make anything that I wouldn't wear myself, and I take pride in my attention to detail.

I love creating and working with my hands. I've been making jewelry and accessories since I was a kid. My first sale was a beaded necklace I sold to one of my mom's coworkers. FIASCO started a few years ago when I began to imagine unique jewelry that expressed my style. I couldn't find any of the jewelry that I wanted in stores, so I decided to make them myself.

I live in Los Angeles with my best friend and husband, Drew, and my cat Iris. We spend most of our time at home eating home-cooked meals. I grew up in Louisiana, so I love to cook cajun and creole food. I'm not much of a morning person, so I can't function without a cup of coffee. If it's late at night, you can find me on the couch, snacking and watching old rom coms. I also love music. I'm a huge David Bowie fan, and my jeweler's bench looks a little bit like a Bowie shrine. I’m happiest when I’m dancing to 80's music, and although I'm not a social butterfly, I enjoy hosting themed dance parties for my friends.
